A Low-power Low-noise Amplifier for EEG/ECG Signal Recording Applications
Abstract:
This paper presents a low-power low-noise amplifierfor electroencephalogram (EEG)/electrocardiogram(ECG) signal recording applications. The presentedcircuit contains a chopper-stabilized amplifier and asecond-order continuous time Gm-C low pass filter (LPF)using very small Gm OTA. The circuit totally consumes6.37J.lW with a single supply voltage of 1.2V. It achievesan AC gain of 40dB in mid-band, the input-referredintegrated noise of 1.08J.lVrms (0.1Hz-150Hz) and a highcommon-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 130dB inbandwidth. This circuit is implemented in SMIC 0.13 J.lm1P8M CMOS process
